Beautiful Oxfordshire Manor House

  • Unique and very private five bedroom holiday home with large garden
  • Sleeps 10
  • Rural location
  • Self catering and chefs can be arranged
  • Close to Oxford, Henley, Blenheim Palace, Bicester Village and the Cotswolds

Set over three floors, the Manor House has plenty of living space plus five double bedrooms – all beds are super-king size, three of which can be made into twin beds if necessary.  There are four bathrooms, two of which are ensuite.  The sitting room is an elegant and very comfortable space with a wood burning stove and direct access into the garden.  There is a beautiful family kitchen with a large separate, stylish dining room that is perfect for entertaining.  Beyond the kitchen is a brilliant playroom, perfect for all ages.

To the rear of the house is a large, enclosed garden complete box parterre, stone gazebo and some beautiful plants and trees.  There is also a ten-seater outdoor table, chairs, barbeque and table tennis table.

The Manor House sits within the grounds of Newington House Estate; access to the Manor house is through private gates from the A329 and it is therefore very secure.  To the front of the house is a gravel parking area for at least 5 cars.

The Manor House is a wonderful base for exploring Oxfordshire, with numerous places of interest, cosy pubs and great walks nearby.

The house is located in the village of Newington, which is six miles from the historic market towns of Wallingford and Watlington. Newington is also within easy reach of popular attractions such as Oxford, Henley, Blenheim Palace, Bicester Village and the Cotswolds.

  • Cots and highchairs can be provided on request.
  • Childcare and a private chef can be arranged.
  • Wifi throughout the house
  • Two dogs allowed but we ask that they stay downstairs on non-carpeted areas only.

Please note that whilst the garden is private and enclosed it is not 100% secure (fenced) for dogs and children and there is a river beyond the garden boundary so extra vigilance is recommended for small children.  There is also a bee hive (located within a very old brick wall and hence can’t be removed), which may pose a risk for anyone allergic to bees.
